Chicago: The Workers


Area artist Peter Hagerty presents his exhibit “Chicago: The Workers.” There will be 16 oil portraits of past Chicagoans  who exemplified Chicago’s work ethic by committing themselves to showing up at a job every day and performing a task.

Local residents include Glen Ellyn author Bill Slaven and past Wheaton Jewelers owner Albert Rifkind. Other Chicagoans of note include: Cardinal George, Mike Royko and Wally Phillips.
