FLAVIO FALENA: SWEET PROPAGANDA, FRED ONE LITCH: MORE POWER

November 17th, 2012 – January 5th, 2013
Opening Reception: Saturday, November 17th from 6pm – 10pm

Maxwell Colette Gallery is pleased to present two new bodies of work on one exciting evening. Sweet Propaganda by Flavio Falena and More Power by Fred One Litch will both debut on Saturday, November 17th with an opening reception from 6:00 – 10:00pm. The shows will run from November 17th, 2012 until January 5th, 2013.

For this final exhibition of 2012, Maxwell Colette Gallery has paired two artists whose work explores the use of collage as a catalyst for the revitalization of discarded visuals and the repurposing of previously disseminated information. Sometimes surprising, funny or provocative, the calculated incongruities exhibited in these works forge a new relationship with the ordinary as fragmented forms collide into fresh points of view.
