A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia in photojournalism, I currently shoot freelance work for personal clients and publications in the Chicago area. I also occasionally teach classes at Triangle Camera.
I see the world visually. All of the time. I may be in a heated conversation when suddenly, I will watch in awe as the sunlight seems to cast in rivulets down one's face (a sprinkled montage created by the glare of a shade moving in the open breeze against a window). This causes me to lapse into very imaginative states and is decidedly not advantageous to my current cubicle environs. I love photographing people and finding the tiny nooks about them that make them unique.
I recently accepted a position as a staff photographer at the Beacon News, a daily newspaper in Aurora, IL.
