I seek to capture the authentic and intrinsic beauty of people, places and things in the world with my photography. The subject matter of my work is varied and includes exotic foreign lands such as India, Tanzania, Latin America as well as my hometown Chicago. Another facet of my art is portraiture. I create compelling photographic portraits of individuals in which a unique essence of their personality is captured. A project I am currently working involves documenting my elderly parents, who are in their early 80’s. My father has second stage Alzheimer’s disease and my mother is his primary caretaker.
